Questions
Do I need to download anything?
No. The game runs in your browser tab. The first visit downloads the game data once and keeps it on your device, so later visits start in seconds.
Which browsers work?
A recent Chrome or Edge on Windows, macOS or Linux works best, Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. The game uses WebGPU, which these browsers support by default.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Turn the phone sideways: a joystick, skill buttons and a menu appear on screen, and a keyboard button for login and chat. For the best experience add the game to your home screen (see App above). Phone support is still being polished.
Is it free?
Yes. Creating an account and playing are free.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Characters, items and zen are stored on the game server, exactly like with a regular MU Online client.
How do resets work?
At level 400 type /reset in the chat. Your character returns to level 10 and keeps its items.
Who are the AI companions?
Some characters on the server are AI companions that hunt, level up and join events, so the world never feels empty.
Is this the official MU Online?
No. Mu Veyra is an unofficial fan server. MU Online is a trademark of Webzen.
